Terms of use
These terms cover this website and the mod it documents. The mod is in alpha, has not been publicly released, and there is nothing here to download. Most of what follows exists to make that clear and to set expectations honestly.

Status of the project
NCPD: First Response is an alpha, in active development. It has not been publicly released. There is no build to download, no installer, and no distribution channel. If you find a file claiming to be this mod, it did not come from this project.
Everything described on this site is work in progress. Features described today may change, be rebuilt differently, or be removed entirely before anything ships. When a system has been played and verified in game, the site says so; when it has not, the site says that too.
No warranty, no liability
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. In no event shall the copyright holder be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.
This matches the project’s licence and does not replace or soften it.
Use at your own risk
Game modifications can affect save files. A mod that adds persistent state, changes engine behaviour, or is removed mid-playthrough can leave a save in a state the base game did not expect. That risk is real for any mod, this one included.
Back up your saves before installing any modification, and keep those backups somewhere the game cannot overwrite. Anyone who runs this software does so at their own risk.
Repository access
Access to the repository, whether as a collaborator, a tester or a viewer, does not by itself grant any rights to the software. Any permission that is granted is personal, non-transferable and revocable at the copyright holder’s discretion. It does not extend to redistributing the software to anyone else.

The content here is informational. It is a devlog describing work in progress, not documentation for a finished product and not a promise that any particular feature will exist. Pages are revised as the work changes.
